2024年12月29日，美国前总统吉米.卡特逝世，终年100岁。在他任内中美建交。

从2025年1月4日晚上7点到1月7日上午6点，民众可以在卡特中心向卡特总统的遗体告别。

卡特总统是中美建交的奠基人，世界和平的使者，佐治亚州的华人应该，必须送他一程，以表达对卡特总统的崇高敬意🙏🙏🙏。

1，1月5日去卡特中心吊唁的朋友请注意：考虑交通因素，大家自由行动，建议开车到East Lake Station 停车（free daily parking，那里有600+ spots），搭乘9:32am或9:52am两班blue line西向行驶的地铁（周日每20分钟一班），坐3站到King Memorial Station，然后坐free shuttle bus（间隔3-5分钟发车）到卡特中心。

另外，Which items are prohibited?

Backpacks, bags, purses, clutches and camera bags will not be allowed on the shuttle buses or at The Carter Center.

Additional items, such as aerosols, drones and selfie sticks, will also not be allowed.

2，并定于1月9日星期四“卡特总统国葬日” 晚19:00pm在一凡餐饮活动中心举办感恩卡特总统座谈会，一起缅怀卡特总统。届时，卡特中心的刘亚伟主任将为我们做主题演讲。同时大家也可以分享一下各自的感悟，以及有关活动的照片和事迹。
